this blog is lonely!

I moved this blog in the autumn but Google hasn’t yet caught up with it, although I’ve twice submitted the site for inclusion. So the visits have come from my regular readers or via links on my web page or Facebook profile, or from other search engines. But the stream of readers looking for chords for ‘the wheels on the bus’ and so on has dried up. I hope that I’ll get them back before too long as it feels a bit lonely without them. Meanwhile I’ll keep posting and try to average one a week.

I don’t think anybody reads MY blog!

I think it’s pretty brave of you to write this – i’ve heard some conductors throwing choir members out for writing a blog, however harmless. Seems like it damages their brand image or something!

what a stupid and wasterful thing to do – to put ‘brand’ first and drop an otherwise acceptable singer who is articulate and thinks about what s/he performs. at least if you don’t want them to blog, then make it a condition of remaining in the choir that they don’t do so about the choir. They’re more dangerous outside than in because you have less control over them. Better still use their talents by getting them to write programme notes or something.
